New Babies at Our House

Back in the middle of April, we noticed this pile of branches on the hedges in front of our house.

At first, we couldn’t figure out why a bird would make a pile of branches like that.  That is, until we looked closer.

Even closer still and we could see there was nest making in progress.

Since then, there has been much coming and going as the nest was finished and eggs were laid.

Over the weekend we took another peek and this is what we saw.
