Who am I?

I’ve been a stay-at-home wife and mother for the over 23 years. My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this past February.  I pride myself on being a homemaker. I started this blog to share some of the knowledge I’ve acquired while raising our children.

I’m also a crafts person; sewing, knitting, crochet, plus more. I’m in the planning stages of putting together a sewing blog.

I’m a retired army wife.  My husband retired from the Canadian army in August of 2000 after 25 years of service.  It was a hard life sometimes, but it was a good life.   We’ve gone on to have some wonderful adventures but we will always treasure our times as part of the military community.

The first big adventure we had after leaving the military was moving to Maui.  And during our time there, it became home of my heart.  So now, you could say I’m a Hawaiian in exile, hoping to someday find a way to return to Paradise.
